My life has frozen beneath me
Like a lake under winter snow

He left me there to hang
To continue on without him
The ice swarming my heart
Feels it shall never get broken

Did i expect this awakening
This entrence into hell
Cause the loneliness in this room
Is as cold as his look I stole [comments] => 4 [counter] => 159 [topic] => 22 [informant] => fallen_eyes [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

The simplicity of the title did not prepare me for the pain and emotion I found in this piece. Again, you let the imagery take center stage, and again, you compose another work of somber beauty. I'm hooked.

Truly,
-V.S.
