When I saw you for the first time,
I immediately wanted to make you mine,
When we danced I sensed so much passion,
Becoming a source of never fading obsession

That night I didn’t need to dream, you became my fantasy,
Lost in the heat, we both reached the peak of our ecstasy,
We were made to fit together; nothing could ever ruin our love,
That’s what I thought at the time, why couldn’t I see that it was all bluff?

You told me it had to became a thing of our past,
You left, disappeared without leaving trace, shattering my heart,
And still I’m waiting here tonight, under the pale moon light,
Trying to catch your sight, and cling to our love with all my might

I've been there so I can definitely relate to this write. Heartache is never a pleasant episode in ones life. You expressed it well.

you captured the feelings so perfectly - that one sided love affair - one leaves and the other one is left brokenhearted -
well written
