The security
of being with you,
of not risking
an unexpected
presence.
You were so relaxed,
so yourself,
content.
Resting in your arms,
waking up next to you.
Being near.
Laughing,
dancing,
loving,
talking.
I woke up
this morning.....
you did your
best,
but I still
felt the tension...
sensed the
apprehension
to let go.
Holding eachother
at the last,
a kiss goodbye.
She's come back
to a life that's
hers and
I stepped through
the door,
into a place
I don't want
to be,
feeling
as if it's all
gone now.
Wishing I never
had to step
away from
your arms,
I prepare
myself for the
loneliness
that's slowly
enveloping my heart. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Such emotional agony.....to loose that closeness, that bond.....a very relatable and heartwrenching read for me my friend.

Very well done,

Oh Dear Little Pear Lady,
Please tell me this isn't so....I know the horrible feeling of preparing your heart to let go! Please try very hard, go the extra 90-ten, I can't believe this happening to you too. I know atleast three of my friends are that are preparing for the very same thing, just like you!
My heart aches for you Jaymee......and everyone involved...please know you can pm. at anytime. You need lots of support,
And know that I love you very much...I hope this was from many years ago!

This is truly lovely and so real. You have a talent for saying so much in only a few words. Keep writing.
Stitch
