in giving freely without fear

the years pass by the garden gate
and we are battered by the storm
our love sometimes feels like hate
but we are bound by lover's fate

to spend all of eternity
leg shackeled and forever wed

That was an incredibly beautiful love poem !!! I loved the way you ended it, in typical Merry fashion :o)

That is lovely. makes me feel guilty, our 50th Anniverary is next month I'll have to try and write something special like this poem of yours, but how to get it on a single page?
