Just because I don't go to a tanning bed
and thoughts of being miss America don't dance in my head
Doesn't mean that I am dead
I try to make myself beautiful for all of you
I even put on a bit of makeup it's sad but true
Maybe I should start dressing less
and maybe I won't always look like a mess
Maybe I shouldn't eat so I can get skinny
so I can wear a skirt that is very teeny
This is how I really feel
The pressures you guys put on us you don't think are real
You only want a pretty girl
But I could seriously rock your world
So girls like me don't have a chance
We don't even get a glance
So I finally realize I am so ugly not a single guy likes me
Their all afraid of what others would say if we were to come to be
I am so ugly I just wanna die
I am sick and tired of having to cry
So why should I even try?

Everytime a guy looks at me

I am so ugly it is true
All you guys don't know what you put me through

My dear, this one truely hit my heart. Your beauty is there. Its always there. I can understand your dilema about the fellas. But I know I am choosey. You see those that just want a pretty face and body,and slim and tanned, that is all superficial. What you have inside dear, and you did state it, Rock thier world, thats what you got, and beleive that you always will. Its ok to be choosy and also the one that really means to you, the one that takes the time, maybe he's the geek, or the one that dresses funny, or is really quiet, or perhaps, just stares and looks down and walk away, for he feels he's not good enough. Just remember, you have to love yourself from within, and that beauty will come alive to the one that matters, and keep those values, if the fellas respects you, he will truely understand your values and morals to wait for the right time. I am in this phase and I am 38, and I am choosy. I have the inner beauty that I am waiting for that one to see, not the ones I seem to attract, for I am skinny, tanned and not bad looking, but its not me. For me has what you called Rock your world stuff, and you got it too. So the right fella just takes time my dear. I had one a long time ago,a nd I'm starting my life over again. I write to let out my feelings as you do, and in time, the right one will understand your inner beauty , as well as not care all about looks as the most important factor.
take care and be patient, it will take some time. Keep busy and perhaps while you're not looking, it will happen.

Hey everyone thanks 4 reading this and I hope you liked it. Ya know sometimes this is really how I feel personally I dunno what it is guys don't like about me I am 5'6 125lbs dirty blonde hair and do nothing but try to be the best person I can be.. So I am left with nothing but to believe that I am ugly!! Thanx again 4 reading

Hey, Christy after talking to you on MSN I have realized you are an awesome girl with a very deep, caring heart. This was a good poem, but I doubt you are ugly. Yes it is true sometimes guys only look on the outside... but sometimes so do girls. One thing you can't do is give up. I personally don't like a girl that is horribly skinny and dresses like a slut. I must say. DON'T LOWER YOURSELF OR WHAT YOU LOOK FOR IN A GUY. You deserve the best! Poems like this are good to get out your pain. Your only 15 you got lots of time.

| Wow. That was a sad poem, but ya know what? You shouldn't be that way. I'm somewhat cynical myself, so maybe I'm not the person to say this, but then again, maybe I am since I've been able to be proven wrong about my cynicalness. You shouldn't give up on these things. Trust me, when you meet the person that's right for you, looks won't really matter. As cliched as this may sound, it really doesn't matter what someone looks like, it's what they're like, ya know? Looks are but a shell, an outer appearance. When you get to know someone, you crack that shell to see what the nut inside and if it's good or not. Umm, odd analogy, yes, but it's true. So, it may take a while, but don't lost hope! |
