[bodytext] => There is evil in this place,
that wraps you in its cold embrace
and with honeyed words, soft and sweet,
whispers words of such deceit.
You believe.
Cannot Leave.

There is danger here.
A dark, forbidding, atmosphere
and in the gloom, that forms around you,
creatures of the night surround you.
Jaws agape.
No Escape.

And in the darkness there’s despair.
Its questing tendrils fill the air.
Soft and silent, it enfolds you.
With steely claws it grips and holds you.
No release.
Never peace.

There are other parts of me,
wandering this insanity.
Each believes it’s on its own,
stumbling blindly all alone.
Fragmented.
Demented.

Powerful words. Wow! You've managed to express the seeming life of that darkness that's so hard to escape. You will escape though: call it a hunch. Great poem!!!
