Array ( [sid] => 31013 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Thanks [time] => 2004-01-07 20:58:42 [hometext] => This poem is dedicated to anyone who has ever made me mad or sad, goes out to all of you. And I'm serious when I say this...thanks [bodytext] => I remember that time you all played a joke on me,
And I was a little slow to pick it up
And by the time that I realised what was going on,
I couldn't take no more, that had been enough
And that time when all you other kids always picked on me,
Simply because I had been labeled a freak
Something 'bout those popular kids that make them think different,
Always thinking that they got something on me

Anways now I'm saying this to all of you:
Thanks
That's right, I'm saying:
Thanks

All you kids, yeah all of you,
You helped toughen me up
All you kids, I said all of you,
You helped the man in me develop

Remember that time you were all having a party,
Everyone in the school got invited
Ya'll gave me that rigged invite, I wound up at grandmas house
Right then and right there, I decided
That I didn’t need any “cool” kids to be happy with life
Now when I see them walking ‘round in the school
And when they try and crack on me I just say to them,
“Say whatcha want at least I won’t wind up the fool”

Again I say to all of you:
Thanks
And I mean it too:
Thanks
