what surprises are instore for us
we never really know its a surprise
all we know is the emotions we feel
we always go into uncharted waters

last year is over and done for
many times we thought were our last
somehow we managed to survive
our dearhearts only progress more
we always go into uncharted waters

we know each new year brings us closer
there is no hiding for us any where
so we try to accept what cannot be changed
name of game is survival sadly ours
we always go into uncharted waters

there is no turning back we go ahead
we care for them till the end
when the end is that is the mystery
it will come when their time arrives

Maryetta,
Sadly very true. You are so courgeous...to stear so straight in unchartered waters.
love you,

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
