On the sand I write free verse
And gather what I've written
And have in hand the sands of time
To show that I am smitten
These thoughts I've melted down
And made into a vase
That you may feel these words of passion
That you may see your face
Your passion your reflection
Causes the words to glow
My words now rhyme the sands of time
And pulse the love I know
