And the MOT
Why does this always happen to me?
Christmas was crap
I felt so alone
I'm fed up of spending it on my own
Rushing around
Scrimping and saving
To give my kids the best
Even when they're not behaving
But what's it all for
When I wake up in my bed
To a complete and utter nothingness
Oh I wish I was wed
But nobody wants me
It's not for the want of trying
I've started going out
But I haven't stopped crying
Everyone's busy
With their own little lives
Hugging and kissing
Their husbands and wives
I long to be loved
Someone just for me
To tell me I'm special
To respond to my plea
But as always I'll keep going
Pretending I'm fine
Hoping and dreaming
And wanting what's mine

So, I hate January
Cause it reminds me that last year
I spent it on my own again
And I coped with the fear
That I'm gonna stay single
Maybe become an old maid
Never know what real love is
And for that I'm afraid [comments] => 4 [counter] => 164 [topic] => 32 [informant] => AliB [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
