Array ( [sid] => 30623 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => MY DEAR DAUGHTER [time] => 2004-01-02 17:33:21 [hometext] => THIS POEM WAS COMPOSED BY ME IN HONOR OF MY DAUGHTER ON HER WEDDING DAY [bodytext] => LIFTS ME UP WHEN I`M FEELING DOWN
MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I`M WEARING A CROWN
EVEN PRAISES ME WHEN I`M NOT AROUND
SHE COMFORTS ME WITH HER GENEROUS TOUCH
TO FEEL HER PRESENCE JUST MEANS SO MUCH
SUPPORTS ME THROUGH THICK AND THIN
EVEN WHEN SHE`S UNSETTLED WITHIN
PLACES ME ON THE HIGHEST OF HEIGHTS
WHISPERS IN MY EAR ON THOSE LONESOME NIGHTS
REACHES OUT TO HOLD AND CARESS
WOULD NEVER THINK OF GIVING LESS
TRIES HER BEST TO SUCCEED IN ALL
SHE`D GRAB ME UP IF I WERE EVER TO FALL
I`M PROUD OF HER AND HER LUST FOR LIFE
NOW SHE`S SOON TO BECOME SOMEONES PERFECT WIFE
MAY HER DAYS BE UN-NUMBERED , INFINITE IN TIME
ALWAYS SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH I KNOW SHE`LL BE FINE
SO LET THE CEREMONY BEGIN, THE PASSING WITHIN
GOOSE BUMPS ARE PASSING ACROSS MY SKIN
I SEE HER EYES ALL FILLED WITH JOY
ONCE AGAIN I BECOME A LITTLE BOY
TO SEE HER ALL GROWN UP AND FULL OF LIFE
COMPLETES ME AND DREAMS ENTER THE NIGHT
I PRAY FOR HER, HER HUSBAND TOO
MAY THEY SHARE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING
THEIR WHOLE LIVES THROUGH [comments] => 4 [counter] => 691 [topic] => 51 [informant] => prk [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Event )
