This I’ve wondered often times
You left with out a word to say
I thought we had just hit our prime

Looks like I was wrong yet again
Now the thoughts run freely
I’m left with all this pain
Considering it all carefully

What did I do so wrong?
Could I ever make it right?
The signs were there all along
Didn’t see what was in plain sight

Maybe I just didn’t want to
Didn’t want to let you go
What is life without you?
Looks like I’ll soon know.

That's really one of the saddest things I've read in awhile, probably because I'm in the same place right now.

Great Write, actually made me tear

Curtis

This is a very lovely and touching poem. The pain never goes away, Suzy, it just hides in a far corner of your heart.
If you will accept my advice, never blame your self for the cruelty of others, if someone caused you pain feel happy because you discovered their real ugly face under the disguise!

Oh, Suzy, so sad. Strikes a chord because I'm in that same place you are. It sure does feel like it's always going to hurt. Found a wonderful quote on Circle of Hope I posted on my site:
"No man or woman is worth all your tears
and the one who is won't make you cry.
"
So true. Hope you find a way to get past it. When you do, let me know what it is...I could use some help, too.
~Patricia xx
