[hometext] => This is a poem about being alone and raging mad at everyone else, and feeling that it's your fault, even though you know that it isn't. It is a sad and angry, but more sad than angry.
[bodytext] => I lie here alone in segregation
For no-one understands. There is no solice; No sanctuary; No respite From the powerful malevolence Which only I percieve. Emotionally emaciated, My former exuberance And contagious naïvety and optimism Are gone. My mind, addled by jaded by Thoughts and perceptions Of things which I once thought of so well, Seeks only to rest, even if but For a short while, As it is aware of the irrevocable repercussions Of the things that have come to pass. Yet it continues restlessly to be taunted, And allows these taunts to continue, Though it knows they could be stopped. I now hate so many things, Former friends and companions, And as sure as the hand of Death kills All who it touches, I am sure of This bitterness, This resentment, This pain.
