What's With the X?

Many people celebrate CHRISTmas
It a great time celebrating the birth
Of Jesus Christ our Lord
Who died for us all
Have ever seen an "X-mas" sign?
Have you ever used the term "X-mas?"
Have you noticed anything wrong with it?
Where is the CHRIST in "X-mas?"
It might be a short way to write it
But on Christmas we are not celebrating "X"
It's important to remember CHRIST
So this time, write CHRISTmas to honor Him.

There's a discussion in one of the forums about this right now.... X also symbolizes Christ
Good write though. |
