One in which everyone is happy and carefree
No one dies, or gets heart broken
for this land holds only perfection
No poverty, no wars, no bad ever found
The opposite of our reality.
Where all are and always have been filled with happiness
including little ol' useless - me
I smile from my soul and have no scars
whether be on my skin or held within
When all seems where it cannot get more perfect
my window into bliss begins to shatter
Crimson red plasma drips from the crevices in the wall
My mirror's image returns showing truth instead of lies
I try to run but the shard cut into my bare feet
I fall to my knees subdued by the pain of glass
severing my flesh, tendons and veins
Facing toward the floor I open my eyes
Seeing on each little shard - my other realm
my other self, laughing at me
Through these tears I smile back knowing she has won
I pick up my nearest laughing reflection
and give to them blood of my own
mixing with that of the mirror's
Laying back onto the floor, feeling the puncture of new wounds
I lay until my world fades
and I join myself in the mirror's reflection. it would be wonderful to have all those happy places all of the time I have a happy place I go to dream as well. This write is intense mixed with hope yet sadness at the same time. I hope that you find the peace that you deserve.
Merry Christmas
Michelle

I love how u create a perfect world and then... DESTROY it with the often harsh reality. Great poem I enjoyed it immensely.
