[hometext] => This is about my Grandfather and I when I was a very small child. He passed away in 1977. So I thought I would write this for him.
[bodytext] => Old and tattered, a white wooden bench; Held up by chains, Grandfather would sit. So much has passed since that time long ago, When we sat there together just watching leaves blow. He sat on one side and I on the other, No words were spoken, just enjoying each other. We watched the big bees as they swarmed around flowers, We’d swing back and forth and sit there for hours. Today it still hangs from the porch of that home, The white paint is weathered and I am now grown. A joyful feeling this memory does bring, As I sit here reminiscing of Grandfathers swing.
