[hometext] => This was the first poem I wrote. Please let me know what you think.
[bodytext] => As the sun disappears behind the tops of the trees, On my face I can feel a slightly cool breeze. Fall is coming, it is near for us now, The season of summer is taking a bow. The September leaves change colors before my eyes, Not too much longer until winter arrives. A new day is here with the break of the dawn, I look through my window to see frost on the lawn. The air outside is crisp and new, It seems winter has made its debut. A few months from now it will all melt away, And we will again rise to another new day. Sun through my window, birds in the trees. New seedlings are sprouting, there is warmth on the breeze. And soon we'll go back to the place where I stand. Where I feel Mother Nature is holding my hand. As the sun disappears behind the tops of the trees, On my face I can feel a slightly cool breeze.
