fallowing in their daddys steps,
teaching their children all they know,
and the memories they kept,
All the things their father taught them,
will hold in their hearts dear,
for all little boys will become men,
passing the generation through out the years,
Watching as their fathers have done,
the steps their little one takes,
laughing as they have their fun,
capturing every breath they make,
The memories we teach our boys,
will stay with them for eternity,
so they will one day bring their children joys,
for them to pass for their children to be,
Little boys will soon be men,
a reflection of their dad,
teaching their own time & again,
of the memories they once had,
Theres still a little boy in all men,
but some dont clearly show,
one day they will, who knows when?
maybe when their children grow,
So take the time to stop & look,
and make those memories last,
shut the T.V off,lay down that book,
because memories fade fast,
show them the way,of what they'll become,
it might be a vision of you,
Life goes too fast, earlier for some,
its time we show them what to do,
For little boys won't stay small,
they'll grow up to be daddys some day,
nows the time to catch them when they fall,
before those memories fade away!

I found this interesting to read. Children do take their experiences into adulthood. I loved the wording in your poem and it sounds like your boys are well on their way to becoming wonderful fathers in the future.

Oh Christina
this is so sweet it brought tears to my eyes.I can vividly see your adorable children playing in the yard with their daddy. Its great to know that he takes the time when I understand how little time he has at home after being out trucking to spend those precious moments with his children and his lovely wife. What a lucky woman you are to have the family that you do!! This is beautiful!
Michelle
