Car full of "Christmas Celebration"
She sees a Navajo woman
walking back to the reservation

Pulls over to offer her a lift
The Navajo was greatful
but to sit her in the front seat
they had to move a crate full

The Navajo stared intently
at the dozen bottles of "liquor"
She raised her eyebrows, looked at Jo
her sad eyes seemed to flicker

"I got them for my husband"
(Jo's explanation made)
the Navajo nodding slowly
said just two words
...........................
"good trade"

Dear Bob,
What a funny funny poem. I think I might know why Jo exchanged all that booze for you.
Look at the terrible job you did when you were clearning the house and rumming too!
Hopefully she will get a maid that doesn't booze as much as you!
Great poem, mate
many laughs

That's great.... Very good.. the rhyme scheme works to your benefit. It's like that camp ground story tale format. You have a very good sense of humor in your writtings I'd admire that. Very hard to write comedy...Great work..
