this black eon of black holes
tears twinkle in the heavens
and stars fall in downpours
and as you examine and reach out
and replace and repair each star
i wonder, where will mine be?
will it hide behind another star,
or only be visible in the heartbeat before the dawn
i have a fear that my star will lose
my wishes in the great shuffle
or that it will dim
but that, i know, is no longer in my hands
and despite the fear
i still desire

Yeah...I have a similar feeling sometimes, but not as deep and encomposing as this poem. Many times I feel like I am being swept away in a great wave made up of the works, dreams, songs, fears, hopes, and what not of people. the wave is so vast, so powerful and rapid paced, that few stop or at least slow down to admire those hopes, dreams, songs, etc. that all those people took the time to make, poured thier souls into, in hopes of getting some kind of feedback, recognition, or a mere comment on their creations. I usually feel that way on Acid Planet because like the wave, many many people are involved and its hard sometimes to get a glimpse of everything. I like the poem, and im not just saying that, you use a cool sounding metaphore about stars representing people and an eon of black holes. Space is another mystery that Ive taken a fair amount of interest in ^^. Must you write about sad things? not that I have a very big refrence to go by cause I only read 3 so far, but they've been so sad...being overshadowed and fading away is really sad....
