fall on my knees,
on my face.
When my eyes are buried in the ground,
longing to look up to that wide open sky,
blue as the color of my hopes and dreams,
I can feel peace.
I feel calm knowing I tried.
That I stood on my tip-toes,
arms stretched to that blue sky,
grasping the air.
Knowing that I tried to reach the sun.
Tried to hold it in my hands,
and let the light shine through me.
As I fell I did not feel sad.
I had reached to far,
exceeded my limitations,
and toppled to the earth.
But, for a moment, I was there.
I had it in my hands.
I could feel the peace,
the tranquility,
the calm,
the light.
And now I'll stand up,
dust myself off, clean the dirt from my eyes,
and look to that blue heaven.
I'll stand on my tip-toes,
arms stretched upward,
and reach for the sky,
reach for the sun.

Everything about this is serene and calm and whoa... if only I knew how to do that. Good skill, finding the joy and the sunshine. I like this, quite inspiring.
