[title] => THE RIVER OF DOOM
[time] => 2003-12-11 19:33:25
[hometext] => The creation of this poem was based upon a metaphor for loss of friendship and betrayal.
[bodytext] => My eyes fill up with tears like clouds condensing in the sky; They pour down my face like rain. Why , dear God, tell me why? They puddle on the page and begin to fill the room. These are tears of deep sorrow that make up the river of doom. Our friendship used to be something I cherished every day. And now, just all of the sudden that friendship was snatched away. I had a friend in you It took away the gloom. But once the tears took over came the tears of the river of doom.
