I am so mad at you for what you said
It goes around and around in my head
Yet I am the one who feels bad
And you are the one who seems the most mad

It was on such a day, when one came to play, that two hearts beat as one. True words were spoken and given in token as a promise to be fulfilled.

On this day, I have to say, my words still ring loud and true. My heart is heavy, my soul is wounded, and I am in dismay. Were the words you uttered merely muttered as to be taken in play.

Such silence now is all I have, not a word from you comes through. All I have are yesterdays words, I read them when I'm lost.

They comfort me and for a time allow memory to be the world I sought.. I wonder now, if somehow, to just be would be heaven sent. Or are those words of another day only ment to be, taken as in play.

I enjoyed your poem greatly, as you see, I have been where you were, and the poem lite a fire. I wonder still, and have come to see, the comfort in my memory. Thank you very much for sharing.
