Grains of storms from long ago
She is calling out,falling now
To a past she used to know

A single flower by her golden face
Bends to touch her tears
To drink from all thats left of a soul
Hollowed through the years

Upon the winds of yesterday
Comes calling,a mournful cry
The burnt out seed of a rose gone wrong
Planted,then left to die

She remembers for a moment
When to her,a freedom was born
Awaiting fragrant petals
Only to be dressed in thorns

A sigh so very tender
Falls from its hiding place
Calling out,falling now
To the memory of fading grace

Very good! This has a beautiful, lonely feel to it, which always gets to me, as I am often lonely.
