Array ( [sid] => 28860 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => taking on the moon [time] => 2003-12-08 04:44:46 [hometext] => this poem is about people who commit suicide because they think it will solve their problems [bodytext] => key in the ignition,
quick flick of my wrist,
engine turns over
and i'm off, racing

i'm going to come to a different end tonight
this one is my choice...

streets blend into one another
smells trigger memories
they all seem so distant, yet familiar
i'm losing control...
everything is spinning out, its all a blur
no-one can break this grip i have
my knuckles are white
in this state of pure bliss

a sweet white orb
floats softly above me
it understands my problems
and now its going to solve them...

my feet are growing heavier
metal connects with metal
i'm taking on the moon,
and soon i am gone... [comments] => 3 [counter] => 346 [topic] => 36 [informant] => infedelity_hurts [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

well...i sorta disagree with the line "suicide because they think it will solve their problems" as most peepz who do that are actually trying to escape from something deeper and darker within...oh well...at least thats wat *I* think anywayz...
just my opinion though..
but i really like the wording and how it all just sumhow seems to melt in2 each other...leaving you a bit dumbstruck at the end i think...wondering about things that have happened even if they are WAAAY off the topic..
so great write ...
keep it up...

I can only please one person per day...
This is not your day...
Tomorrow's not looking 2 good either..
