This empty void was once a home And everything I thought was mine Was all another broken lie A fairytale lingers here Romantic poison in my ear Oh, happy endings do decieve And so do you, my love, my liege The storybook is firmly closed Against the dream I blindly chose So now I know, so now I see The silent black reality The bleeding edges of my soul Are fading in this endless hole And slowly I will melt away Your token words have gone astray Now I can hear a strain of song But no more will I play along This empty void was once a home Just leave and let me die alone.
