to tell you how I feel,
I'm sure you'll understand my plight,
it's time to buy a steal.
I search the ads both high and low
to see what I can see,
An auto is the target quest,
my old one's quit on me.

The Americans, the Japanese,
The Germans all display,
Their cars for me to come and pick
And buy without delay,
The cars are on a special sale,
It's now, must be allez.
You'll never get them cheaper,
You believe, it's what they say.

I asked the trade-in value,
I was jolted there and then,
The price they offered was so low
I couldn't buy a hen.
I dickered and the salesman laughed,
I couldn't make a dent,
My credit, it was Super A
A million they'd have lent.

I called the guys who give a tow
I brought my car to Lou,
Lou assured me, have no doubt,
He'd fix it up like new.
If someone knows the way to buy
A brand new car, I say,
Go ahead and have your fun,
I'm keeping mine today [comments] => 5 [counter] => 291 [topic] => 7 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 2 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

Shucks durn Norm....what a great poem, but I can't tell you how.
for a new car I've never had, But as for those saleman....they are really bad. You have to pretend like you don't like the new one...start picking out the mistakes, you know, "It's too low, or the dash is too high....things like that...they say it works...cheaper buy!
Hope you have a good mechanic Norm...They don't have to have licenses here.
What a terrible storm they can perform! Good Luck Norm...
