[hometext] => We take them for granted.
[bodytext] => It's hard work being a mother,
Especially when you're a Dad, I've got a wife in hospital, And a daughter who's driving me mad. Time is no longer mine to spend, My life is upside down, Between changing dirty nappies, I'm shopping in the town. Feeding, washing, changing clothes, I'm working to a peak, I realise now, where the money goes, At the end of every week. If Mums were paid with wages, We'd realise what they're worth, The hours they work throughout the day, They'd be the richest on the earth. When Mum comes out of hospital, I know I'll do what's best, I'm back to work at the station, To have a bloody rest.
