My Heart Dies

My mind spoke
And then my heart broke
It was not to be
And now I see
What everybody was wanting me to see
I am setting the thought of him free
I am keeping my head high
I will not long for or sigh
Or let this world pass me by
No longer will I cry
I will keep my love till the Angels bring
One who makes the wedding bells ring
My feelings are dead
And they no longer torment my head
The truth I will be seeing
For my heart is no longer keeping
The awakening from me
