internal mutiny
bolting down corridors
blood pounds
through susceptible veins
racing to the heartbeat
spilling into a pool
of congealed anxiety
and waits apprehensively
for something to happen
out of context
process comes undone
give and take falter
always taking too much
and destroys the balance
until there is chaos plummeting
across the slippery slope
where treacherous teeth
nip at my heels
feeding on my frenzy
until i am nothing but bones

Uncanny , seems as if you are writing my life story every time you put your pen to paper.

I think they call this a panic attack. But it is little understood. The feeling is overwhelming..the blood pounding..the confusion..one is lucky if bones are there to be recognized. It is an attack ...from within. Fearful because we have no one to fight. The enemy is within and no one understands...I understand all too well and I like the poem. I'm new to the club or I would have read and commented before.
