Fix the bad things that happened to us…
Be happy and loved and cared for…
Not have to worry about things that people
Took for granted not so many years ago.

If life was simple and plain,
With no complications too big to handle.

Life would be so good if
We all could trust our neighbors…
We didn't have to fear strangers.

Life would be so good…
Wouldn't it?

But if life were that good,
We'd all be waiting to wake from the dream.
I guess we'll just have to face facts,
Life sucks. Deal with it.

Life would be so good if we could
All do over our mistakes…
Fix the bad things that happened to us…

Not have to worry about things that people
