By Ashraf Gohar Goreja

Fascinating dreams extend to us no pleasure
They only embellish and dramatize the world of fantasy
Seldom they lead and ofttime they deceive
We all are humbled by our bewitched souls
Man's foolish indulgence in ecstasy, foster him to grieve

Let's not talk tonight about our enchanted vision
Let's see the moon chasing the caravan of stars
Shy and hiding itself form the beauteous face
For love becomes timid when passion grows
As a burning candle changes the colors at it's final pace

Old grief becomes young with the memories of the past
Drifting thoughts when halt at the verge of sobbing moments
Then the winds of mockery blow, rushing towards the broken heart
To sedate it with jeering passion and diminishing beauty of love
A squall merely convey, imbued ardor, before a weaken soul depart

Let's not talk about forsaken love and the hate that prevails
For the night soon be fleeting to collapse with the sun
Shadows disguise the malignance of man's soul
Violent heart, blind passion and optional truth in life
What poor love should do in the events of deceived extol.

It reminds me of the thoughts before a poem is born. I can't wait to see the final works.
