Everything you've ever wanted in another human being
Now slowly open up to see
Never ending beauty radiating before thee
If a goddess did walk this sphere
Forever perfect, yet she is standing so near
Every passing hour hurts, the love grows so strong
Remembering her voice as a divine song

How can I bear to see her smothered
Unjust discontent in the arms of another
Perhaps one day when our eyes meet
Pleas to the stars won't fall in defeat
Elegance incarnate, down to how she walks
Revealing eyes hidden beneath sable locks
Truly a gift forged in my revery
Oh god, how I love thee [comments] => 6 [counter] => 221 [topic] => 33 [informant] => Vitreous_Soul [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 16 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SecretLove )

VS, to the depths of your soul....what a delightful write. A poem of love, and desire, penned with all your might! To stand back and love her, although she's in the arms of another, can be very tortureous and sad...
Perhaps one day.....if you should see her view you, she will see the care in your eyes,
and you may be able to tell her the words of you poem, and how you idolize.
This was very touching to me VS....you are definitely a romantic at heart *smiles*

I had forgotten the ones of yours that I have already read. As you can see I am re-reading and this time around I think the poem was even more awesome to me. It's a combination of feeling my heart do the mambo and feeling stunned.
A perfectly expressed write.

I like this one. It has an original array of rhymes and works itself out intelligently, within a beautiful sentiment.

Reaaaally well done.
