what it is that appears to be wrong
I said Doctor you just have to help me
for stuck in my brain is a song

Just what kind of melody is it?
country western garage or soul,
or maybe a slow smouchy ballard
or a little rock and roll

Doctor I`m just getting desperate,
Its swimming around in my head
its gone past the cerebrospinal fluid stage
and keeping me awake in my bed.

The answer is really quite simple he said
I have the very solution you need
so he gave me a name of a 70`s film
and said now tell me who played the lead

Its been driving me mad for days now,
I just cant think of his name
its keeping me awake most nights
and blocking all thoughts in my brain

Well the song in my head has now vanished
I now have something else on my mind,
If only someone could tell me who starred
in Close encounters of the Third Kind.

Hi Penny, Great write! I think it might've been Richard Dreyfus! But I could be wrong it's a long time since I saw this classic.

With love
