do you cross down-trodden affairs
in my eyes i see a lie as a lie
you crossed me twice now i swear
the opportunity was coming, and it should have been nothing
but with a little something look again it's the one thing
that darkened the shadow, more grease upon the stain
not what i would fathom as your record's not the same

this seems pointless
show me wrong

so forgive
and forget
so easy
no sweat

am i supposed to look beyond it
like you're reckless and i am naive
it crossed my mind hundreds of times
but i can't begin to the belief
the surface tension is over, and the virus buried under
what have you to show for this uncovered little plunder
time added to deception, why did this have to wait
no that it matters when you're too little too late

pointless
come on

so forgive
and forget
so easy
no sweat
you're sorry
oh i know
it shadows
but i'll let go

forgiven
forgotten
yea easy
like a coffin
sorry
i know
patience
one day i'll let it go [comments] => 5 [counter] => 212 [topic] => 34 [informant] => remy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

I went through something really bad with my best friend, and it has taken me a year to get over it, I was so angry, so confused, so upset. She tried to fix it but she just hadn't changed what was wrong so I ended up seeing that it was not worth it, not worth my time or emotions anymore. I still have the memories...live and learn. This was a good write cause I can relate...so I wish you all the best because I have been there too. All the best.

Emma.
