Love Lit Life

Love Lit Life
October 27, 2003

When alone and by myself
I sit silent and think of himself
He who i have never seen
But imagine and hope and dream
Crossing paths in the dark
To see his face light up a spark
Wandering closer until finally here
He takes my hand and sweeps my fear
Side by side, alone we glide
Whispering softly, smiling inside
Often not speaking at all
The comfortable silence breaks down the wall
Stopping under the occasional light
Remembering his face doused by the night
Shy smiles, warm embrace
He who I know not of
Has found me my place
I am in love with being in love
Of romance, hugs, and a midnight dance
He walks me, and talks to me, and together we're a mold
My someone that will help me, to open and unfold

Lying, fingers laced a woven love
Watching the stars dangle above
A vigil I am to him, and the same for me
In his arms, head on shoulder, we can pass the night
When around himself we're true
Never ending, never dying, always new
Aflutter romance sweeps mine and his mind
Together, alone, alligned
Remind the sun to rise anew
The day I am destined to find you
Pass the charade of beginning it right
A date or two before it beams it's light
I want to skip the nonsense game
And be held by himself without any shame

I am in love with being in love
Of romance, hugs, and a midnight dance
He walks me, and talks to me, and together we're a mold
My someone that will help me, to open and unfold

I really like this, it reminds me of that burning passion I felt for someone, and I relate to

"I am in love with being in love"
nice work :)
