I watch me breathe

Whispers unspoken taunt me
Rip off my ears

Let the blood flow down my neck

Feeling warm yet again

Crashing into my mind
With thoughts of unspokens

Missing all the memories
We never could remember

Break me down further
And love me everyday

Destroy what little I call my own
Ruin my foundations in each and every way

While I sit here
Holding my ears in each hand

You run away with my dignity

Roll the dice and guess my wish
See the hope dive further into misery

Watch me as I breathe
Falling into tomorrow

Stumbling over the dice on the floor
Falling into the puddles of red

Ears laying soundless
Lying awake yet again

Losing all sense of ending
And I'm waiting to begin

Roll the dice for tomorrow
Pick lucky numbers for today

Lose yourself in my feelings
Help me find my way

Light the path and close me out
Tear my wishes with your thorns

Sitting here waiting for nothing
Ignoring the pleas my heart warns

Coming into me
Crashing through my escaping mind

Roll the dice just one more time
Crash and roll forever

Addicted to gambling my heart away

Whisper breathless

Cry so endless

As you come crashing into me [comments] => 4 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Exodus-On-Life [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Nice. Breathe is my favourite word and you've put it to good use here.

Sounds painful but I really liked the last 4 lines there. I thought all in all it was a good write.
