| Young grasshopper I feel you have much to learn mate but you gotta hit that wall on your own. Eventually like misslee said you are gonna find either one that does love you or is a better player than you. Either way you will probably end up hurt and you'll have hit that wall. | I think its sad that you feel this way, but I know its not your fault. You've obviously been hurt and I think You just need to find someone who loves you right. You should read a poem I wrote called the Unattainable one. It might make you think. Also Your Fool, they were both written for someone similiar to you. I love him and I understand him and he won't let me completely in, but he doesn't treat me the way he does most of the others. Thats what you need someone who TRULY loves and understands you and I hope that you find it. Just don't burn too many bridges along the way a reputation is much easier to aquire than it is to live down and if you do find someone you truly love your not going to want them to know that side of you. |

| Well, lets see. Its a two way street my dear. It happens to woman too. You can genrerlize in your anger now, but there will be a "someday" that real love of a woman will prevail. I do hope you will attain the free mind of it to be open. You could never be the only one this has happened, it happens every day, to many male and female. Thru thier trials, many grow up from these experiences and learn from them. Yes, wary is the way, but saying never and doing never, is letting yourself down, by not allowing what can be true and real into your life. Remember, not everyone is the same,and you let those in, you think you can trust, then let yourself be known what you like to have someday, you need to understand that life is tough, and ups and downs happen. One just needs to mature thru them, and not act like an indiot and behave as those did to them, for you would appear lower then them. Just some sound advice from one who learns and everyday has kept on learning and still wary, but also allows the mind to be open and hope I find a special love that is real someday. Please don't be angry all the time, for you are missing out on some real life. Good luck and take care, and also may God Truely bless you and hope you will take his hand or go thru his open door someday to realize you can get thru life without being so angry. |

| Yeah, Rose I do understand what you're saying about guys doing that to girls, too. I've seen it happen to women and it does make me mad. Yet, I don't man bash in this poem for the simple reason that I don't have to worry about a man breaking my heart. I think that's why so many other people got so defensive about this poem. Because I'm saying that my heart won't get broken again because I've decided not to have one. A lot of people try to change my mind about that, but why should I when I'm no longer lonely? Just so people can feel better about themselves by holding on to some romantic idea? There's a million poem on this site about heartbreak, and they could've saved themselves from it if they made sure that the person they were falling for was a good person before letting their emotions cloud the truth. |

| Hmmm you are entitled to how you feel. I feel that by not giving your heart to someone who might have the patience to work with someone who has been hurt so much, as yourself, and many others, might be worth the time and while of your heart. Just think of this. For if you think you cannot feel, how will you really get thru your time in life without learning about the hurts as well as the good things. We all do succumb, because its only a human event kind of built in trait we all fall for in ourselves. Just as you build your wall, remember that patient one in your life to come, for she will try and not hurt you, but try to know you and really care. In any kind of relationships, friends, lovers, married, (and I been thru all of them.) You do hurt someone, maybe not meaning to, or some will be mean purposely. However, this may go, if the relationship is strong enough and how the hurt was done and if why, and how often, then perhaps talking and letting it go, and move on canwork out, instead of breaking a good relationship of any kind. I do hope you will prevail in your feelings to be loved someday. You are already loved by God, however, you may not think this, but you are. but for us Humans, well, we take more time and patience, and that is life, its tough, but it works. Rose..... as for your write, its really not bad, if one can see pass your words of anger and feeling of the subject and see what you wrote is that you got your point across. well done, even though I do not agree with you. :) |

Well hello again new found friend.
Sounds like u get picked a bit for telling the truth. I do so admire u for truth as I stand for truth.
I see many folks, (again didn't read all the comments) pick on u for your brleifs. That's sad to me.
I'd pick a man with truth any day before I'd go with a casanova.
There's only one man in my life that based our relationship on truth. We lost touch but he's made the biggest impact on my life except for my parents. I still write about him. He's my Tarzan.
Don't know how I've missed your writing till now but u can beat ur on my buddy list. Now I'm going to read the rest of your post.
Hang tuff and be who u r and if folks can't see the beauty in your heart then it's their problem!
