I've given you all pieces of me
I've shown you the best
And shown you the worst
Took my memories and turned them into words
Offered my passions for public view
I'm tired of watching
My poems go by, with no one commenting
What can I say, other than I'm not who I was before
And my contacts said they hated my depression
But where are they now, that it's been cured
When I first came here
Everyone was a friend
I thought I had found my online home
But, now more than ever before
I find the backbone that held my attention has disappeared
My favorite authors moving on, to other sites I assume
I've no personal agenda with anyone here
But this site seems to empty now for me to stay
I'm leaving my words here, in case theirs anyone who liked them
But I'm heading onward, feeling I've over stayed my welcome
I'm not going to stop writing, I feel it's in my blood
To write regardless of topic, fictional or not
Forever the letters YPDC will mean your-poetry dot com
The place I met my forever, my angelic love

One last time for everyone to see
I leave an I love you to Amy Marie
And turn and wave farewell to everyone else
Who knows, we may meet again one day

I am very sorry to see you leave, Jase.. I know how you feel tho, cause I feel the same. Lots of people read but no longer comment and I can't understand the reason for this now.. The site has changed, yes, but not all that much....and the people are the same....with new friends added....
All the best to you, Jase...and I have enjoyed reading you and being your friend..
Hugs,
Jenni

I don't blame you Jason... that's kinda what I'm thinking of doing as well... sorry I didn't read this one earlier.... most of my poems go up on AD now...so I don't come here too often... I didn't know you had left... well I'll be seeing ya at AD anyway

Always,
Dani
