Life ain't been no paved road,
It's had pot holes in it,
And bumps,
And some mud puddles too,
And places where there ain't no turn arounds-
Driveways.
But in some places
I'se been a smooth part,
And take it,
And it gets better,
But sometimes road construction up ahead
Where there needs to be workin' on.
So girl, don't turn back.
Don't take a short cut
'Cause short cuts are even harder.
Don't worry now-
I'se others still goin' honey,
Taken the hard road,
And life for me ain't been no paved road.

(((( Cena)))) I have tears running down my face. Live hasn't been a paved road for me. But the love of my children has made each and every bump more that worth it. I love you, Annie, Kathy, Brandon and Tori more that life itself. Thank you sweetheart

Dad

I don't know how did you know, but my father once told me the same words, but I ain't listened to him that time and got burned. Sometimes I remind his words and regret that I hadn't. Great work.
Alexa.

This would probably be a great greeting card. This is hopefully every father's advice to his little girl. God bless,
Deidra
