[title] => WHERE YOU WAIT FOR ME!

[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => An angel came and smiled at this man,
While I was holding your slender weak hand. Then I saw him turn right toward you, When I realized you were seeing him too! You smiled at me as you mouthed these last thoughts, “I’ll be waiting for you in the new home we have wrought.” “Please my darling, don’t fret and cry.” The sparkle then left from your beautiful eyes. Your spirit rose and was more beautiful, Than anything I’ve ever seen. You blew a final kiss to me As you slipped through our ceiling. Now I often visit that portal, Where you left me for the sky. And I’m sorry dear but my happy, sad tears Do often come strolling by. But I know what I did bury, Was not the whole of you. For I saw you leave, to the angel cleave. Now I’m waiting to join you too! rob.burns2@verizon.net homepage.mac.com/robertburns2/… Tribute Poetry [comments] => 1 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 38 [informant] => Robert_Edgar_Burns [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Tributes )
