Try not to question my love,
For I have sought deep within me.
Cussed at me,
Cursed and been
Cruel to me.
Do not lay blame on my heart,
For yesterday’s lovers are spent.
Gone from me,
Hurriedly,
Sent from me.
Drink not from love’s stagnant brook,
As fresh waters baptise a dream.
Wash away,
Fervently,
Jealousy.
Sanction no thoughts to conspire
Or detriment bring to our cause
Just come to me,
Love,
I will comfort thee.
