Devil's tail surrounds me
Drags me from this empty room

Clawing, screaming anything

Rip my dry throat from my neck
Drip it on the floor
You yell at me for making a mess
And run, laughing, out the door

So young and so foolish
Thoughts that repeat in my head

Blood puddles all over the kitchen floor
Yet, I'm not dead

Throatless and abandoned
The smile on your beautiful face

The trail of red that follows you
Marks of the treads from your size eight's

Crimson as the roses by your doorstep
And as warm as a fire makes

Struggling for breathing
Half a world so far away

Clawing for the oxygen
Plotting my goodbyes
Screaming for my abilities
And forgetting all my lies

Remember back when we were young and foolish
And memorize thoughts that repeat in your head

Come back laughing into the house
Shove my throat back in my neck

Clean the blood from your hands and floor
Is it up? Did you check?

Still not breathing and still not dead

A phone call I won't be waiting for
Lungs so fresh and cut clean

My throat is always missing

Wake up bloody and I scream

Waiting for the best part of what happened
Drying blood and plotting my goodbyes

Sinking into skin uncertain
Too weak and here my body lies

I am watching you always
Waiting for my throat

Growing weary and freezing
Waiting for your coat

Stick around and watch me sink

Devil's eye upon me
Watch me as I bleed

Running, laughing, screaming
All that I think I need

Did you ever think to be this blessed?
Lying in the car?

Glass fills your eyes and hair
Heart stuck in a jar

Devil's tail surrounds me
Drag me from my cell

Find my throat and replace it
You never can tell

I'll clean up my blood
Forget this crimson mess

Forget the pains you've inflicted
I'll remember, I promise

Watch me always
See me when I die

Rolling into uncertainty

The best part of what happened
Was the part I never saw

Taste the iron flavor
Tongue covered in red

My throat has been gone for so long
And still you haven't found me dead

Is this the way things work now?
Breathless and always

Make the most of being weakened

Sitting alone and uncertain
Devil's eyes bearing down on my skin
The throat removed from my neck
Waiting for this mess to end

Does anyone remember being young?
Did you ever think you'd be this blessed?

Lying in the car waiting for something
Blood flowing free

Lying in this fiberglass cage
These glass shards that get to me

Devil's tail dragged me down
Rescued from this floor

You ran outside, laughing
Left me in my deep red mess

Tore my throat away from me
Forget that I will be blessed

Devil's eyes are off of me
Make no more excuses

Forget the way I bled that day
And forget the way our life fuses

Clawing, screaming for happy
Waiting to be sad

You tried to steal my throat from me

The blood all over the floor tonight
I'm so horribly glad [comments] => 4 [counter] => 188 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Exodus-On-Life [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Ah, angst. Gotta love angst. Well, this is definitely raw as you say, and it was an entertaining read. Btw, I like your username as well.
