Mind’s own minority
Sheltered from all fears
Jealous of the majority
They who contain their tears
To the
The last place you know will stay
When all thoughts are released
A home you know at the end of the day
Wrapped up inside your heart
It’s beating to tear your mind apart
When the sun goes down
And the lights go out
And in the dark you frown
Here you are hidden and you can pout
No one will see what you’re crying about
So when the day is done
And you need to hide
There is no place to run
But the darker side
To your

Mind’s own minority
Sheltered from all fears
Jealous of the majority
They who contain their tears
To the
The last place you know will stay
When all thoughts are released
A home you know at the end of the day

It’s beating to tear your mind apart
When the sun goes down

This one caught me a little off guard. Great write, a little poignant, but I dig it.
