A definitive point of origin
Travel east or travel west
More than a lifetime to pass this test

Existance as seen through the eyes of Janus
That moment you knew that time out ran us
Pass through gates and open closed doors to see
To traverse three hundred and sixty degrees

On it goes
Infinity casts a cruel shadow

Days filled with painful goodbyes
Forced through crying and teary eyes
Happily ever after goes the fairy tale

It's limitless, the sky stretches too far
Vast desert in space are clusters of stars
Alone in darkness one light will sail

In the journey to find who you are
Boundless travels to drag you afar
As endless as a clear view of the open sea
With loneliness your only company

On it goes
Eternity leaves it's burning mark

Days filled with innumerable what if's
Standing in disbelief at the edge of a cliff
A foggy canyon, can't see the ground

Intense vertigo corrupts my sight
How amazing it would be to fall from this height
Such a freefall, the end would never be found

On it goes
Unrequited suffering
On it goes
The pilgrimage into oblivion
On it goes
In the guise of concentric water ripples
On it goes
Dust becomes dust
On it goes

Interesting piece, reminded me of a pilgrimage. Nice title too. I hope you find your ending and some closure.

Great write, but you might consider the spell-check option. It won't hurt.
Exixtence NOT Existance.
and its burning mark, not it's burning mark

Peace!
