At all anymore.
I don't want you to know me
I left the life you tore.

I left you far behind,
And I left you far away.
I'm not even sure I'm sorry,
Never once wished I could stay.

You had to betray me;
You murdered me and cursed me.
Took a knife of your own betrayal,
Stabbed me from behind.

And now I'll leave you,
Never physically hurt you
But mentally bind you, because
I'm. Not. Like. Your. Kind.

I never turned away from you
Never said a word against you.
Sorry to throw grim celebration,
But I'm glad you're gone.

Won't physically put a scratch on you
But I hope I hurt you deep inside.
I hope I've left you with nothing,
When all is said and done. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 143 [topic] => 6 [informant] => Eve [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

I'm quite taken aback that twenty-seven people have read this and not even bothered to comment on it - and someone's even given this a maximum rating. Very strange.
Anyway - enough of my annoyance - onto the poem . . .

"Sorry to throw grim celebration,
But I'm glad you're gone."

This made me smile, having made me recollect a similar episode I went through in my school years . . . *sigh* I must commend you on the amount of expression you mustered to write this - an excellent and insightful poem.
Thanks for writing this.
