The sweetness of your lips
And the softness of your thighs
Only Shiva, thy Eternal Consort knows
As He is the Lord of creation who hast
The privilege of absorption in your beauty
All other gods can not even see thy feet
Where the heavenly damsels take refuge
With a desire to enhance their glory of beauty
O Mother Divine, he who contemplates
Thee as a crimson colored goddess dwelling
In the car of the rising Sun in the morning
Will be able to delight the minds of the wise
With a majestic flow of words surging
Like waves of erotic sentiments emanating
from the swells of the beautiful breasts
of the ever youthful goddess of speech;
He who meditates on Thee, who sends
Forth the luminous waves of bliss from
Thy body as an image of moon stone does,
Will be capable of humbling the pride
And ferocity of serpents by his mere look
And Himself like Garuda or Phoenix
Can cure all ailments including brain fever;
If thy gracious side glance fall on even
A decrepit old man who is ugly to look at
He will be followed by young women
In all haste having their locks scattered,
Their rotund breasts exposed by loosening
Of their brassieres in their excitement
While letting their cloths slip down;
Being a noble spiritual aspirant I am free
From those impurities like lust, greed
Ignorance, egotism and the like, therefore
O Mother supreme, O Mother of universe
May Thou vouchsafe Thy glorious presence
In the core of my heart while creating thrills
Of spiritual love in every cell of my body
With pure consciousness and heavenly bliss!
