Dead, they said.
He's dead, they said.
But I would not believe
I could see you in my dreams

Gone, they said.
She's gone! they said.
It was easy to decieve
I was guided by my dreams

Heaven's no place for a love-haunted girl
You had to be somewhere, in hell or on Earth
So this is my mantra, this is my prayer
If ever I find you, so I will stay there

So it seems.

Not so clean.

Of my wings.

Black is the color
Of betrayal
Black is the color
Of denial
Black is the color
Of my style
Black is the color
Of mine.

Dead, they said.
He's dead, they said.
But I would not believe
I could see you in my dreams

Gone, they said.
She's gone! they said.
It was easy to decieve
I was guided by my dreams

hmm different but very good nonetheless I enjoyed it liked the repetition in the first and last stanzas especially.
