Array ( [sid] => 26868 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME? [time] => 2003-11-11 10:22:10 [hometext] => I'm dedicating this poem to our Phantom's 4th Wedding Anniversary. Help him out....go to his forum and leave a nice anniversary note. It's called 4 years on Nov. 30th. [bodytext] => (She) "Will you still love me,
when wrinkles frame my eyes?"

(He)"When I look at a beautiful picture
'Tis not the frame I see.
I see only the painting and
the Artist's creativity!"

(She)"And when my hair fades
with grey and then it's white?
In your eyes, will I still
be all right?"

(He)"When I'm embracing you
in my loving arms true,
I don't even notice the color,
Is it dark or light?"

(She)"My memory may fade,
I might "forget" as it becomes dim.
My waist won't be as thin.
Will you still request a "Love-in?"

(He)"Have you forgotten my dear,
my memory too, will disappear.
Your waist curvaceous thin?
I only see your heart, deep within!"

(She)"Will you still love me when I have
enlarged knuckles on my pretty hands &
my legs no longer heed commands?"

(He)"I'll never see the knuckles deformed,
Only the deeds those hands transformed,
and warmed!
When your legs give out on you,
Mine probably will too.
I'll buy a rocking chair built for two!

(She)"As I lose my teeth one at a time,
replacements by design.
Will you still love my smile,
and kiss me, and not revile?"

(He)"Teeth, lovely one, are for chewing.
What does that have to do with kissing?
I can close my eyes and feel your smile.
Soft warm lips, truthful, no beguile!"

(She)"And as the fleeting years fly by.
There will come a day, to say "Goodbye."
Will you still love me then, and hold
me close to your heart, my friend?"

(He)"I promise, my love, I'll hold you near
to my heart, 'til your last breath.
I pledge to you, I'll still love you,
even, after death!"

I hope what you see of heaven
is forcast for this family seven,
And as you say, one lives and loves
and emulates the turtle doves...
