A girl torn up, in the face she's blue
Pitiful girl screaming above,
another helpless victim of the scorn of love
The girl I see breaking down with her insane cries
Screaming my name in those bloodshot eyes
And she's shaking in fear
Staring me dead straight through the mirror
Scared and on my own
I pray to God above that you'll have a change of heart
Realization- I'm truly alone
Losing faith as I watch a reflection fall apart
Climb into a bed big enough for two
Holding on to emptiness in the place of you
Is that vacant space enough of a clue?
These tears held back
A cherished breath inhaled
A freed cry goes out to God
Why have I failed?
How have I displeased you
That you won't make things right?
Why must you burn his mark
Into my mind each and every night?
I lie with this cross
And I hold these values tight
I ask of you God

Sad but great writing!
Have u ever heard the song, THANK GOD FOR UNANSWERED PRAYER?
Afte me-n- my ex split I prayed for God to bring him home, knowing God wouldn't but even in my pain, I knew why 'cause God knew what he put me thru.
See the point is God has mysterious ways but sometimes he says no. God knows and sees all and all he wants in our trust.
See all the time I knew God was jus taking care of me.
Hang tuff and be patient cause God sees your faith and he knows what u need. Somday u will understand why he says no or wait.
peace, joy, luv,
emy
Keep up the good writing!
